Golden Hour Returns to the Mellon for Its Third Annual Soiree

The Mellon Auditorium, Ridgewells Catering, and Design Foundry joined forces once again to host their third annual Golden Hour Soiree - an evening celebrating creativity, connection, and the transformative power of an extraordinary event space.

Set within the iconic Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium, the cocktail-style reception invited guests to experience the venue firsthand and discover the many possibilities the space has to offer. Attendees enjoyed refined hors d’oeuvres, artfully crafted cocktails, and immersive design moments that highlighted the Auditorium’s unmatched scale, versatility, and striking historic architecture. 

This year’s soiree unfolded like a love letter between eras, blending deco-era glamour with a distinctly modern sensibility. Rich textures, layered lighting, and thoughtfully curated details transformed the historic landmark into an experience that felt both timeless and contemporary. Overhead, the Auditorium’s soaring ceilings came alive with captivating projected imagery, further enhancing the grandeur and atmosphere of the space.

More than an evening of celebration, the Golden Hour Soiree serves as an invitation for event planners and industry partners to reimagine what is possible within the Mellon. From galas and conferences to weddings and cultural events, the venue continues to prove that it is far more than just an event space - it is a statement in itself.
